SILK
Silk was trained with the bow by his father at the age of nine and with daggers and
throwing knives at 13. His family was poor and so at 15 he left the house to make his own
way in the world. He got a job as an assistant to a rich merchant but he still visited his
home from time to time to help out with the housework as his parents were getting older
and he often brought gifts for them from the merchant who had been friends with his
father. In the middle of winter Silk came home to find his father murdered and his mother
hopelessly consumed by her greif. She gave Silk his father's bow and quiver which had been
a gift to him from a generous nobleman who had married one of Silk's sisters. Silk then
brought his mother to live with his aunt and went off into the world to get revenge on the
murderer. He then became a rootless vagabond with no home, only his horse, Phren, for
companionship and only the things he could carry for belongings.As it become in his
travels he became known as one who knew every part of Daewoo and how to get there. Also he
had become known as one who could get anyone just about anything you need if the price was
right. One night a women sent word to him , that she had needs for his services. they met
in a place of secert. Kara informed him that he was needed to supply maps of certain areas
of Daewoo and that transportion, horses, and all kinds of supplies would be needed and set
at certain points . Silk looked at the list and services needed and realized that this was
no simple venture this was a mission of some sort. Silk said nothing for in his mind he
thought perhaps these people would have information leading he to the murderders of his
father. Silk explained to Kara that this would cost a great deal of money, which to his
surprize she handed him two bags full of gold. Silk then knew for sure that was something
important but he was unsure . Kara informed him to go and wait for a party of people, one
of who was named Ageless, gave him details of what Ageless looked like and told him to be
discreet in getting in contract with her and to be discreet of his doing. Now he waits for
Ageless and her companions to reach the city of URL to help them on their quest as he was
commanded.
