SIREN
Siren is 19 years old, she has blond curly hair and green eyes. Her mother died after giving birth to her and at the age of four she was orphaned when her father was killed by a bandit hired for that purpose. Her father, who had been a very successful and influential merchant in the area of her birth place and a friend of the lord of the place, was killed by a jealous rival. The rival merchant was arrested for the offense but could not be found guilty and was released. Siren was then sent to live with relative of her mother but she ranaway from the camp on the first night to find the merchant who had arranged her fathers death. She had climbed into his garden via a tree and was about to knock on the back door and demand entry when a man ran out of the hourse and tripped over her. Being only four she screamed and he was forced to pick her up and carry her with his hand over her mouth to the tree by which he had also gained entry.
When he pulled his hand away from her mouth she demanded to know who he was and thinking to scare her into silence he told her that he had been sent to kill the merchant and having done so was now getting away as quickly as possible and wasn't about to let a little girl slow him down. Instead of being terrified, Siren had just looked at him and hotly told him that he shouldn't have killed the merchant because she was meant to do it instead. This had amused the assassin greatly and when she told him the reason behind this he pitied her and took her with hi back to the guild of Tien from which he had come. It was meant to be a temporary arrangement but he found that he liked her and could not find it in him to send her away. As the man was the Guildsmaster of the Tien this proved no particular problem.
As the years passed he found that he had become a second father to the girl who was now seven years old. He also discovered that she was quite good at imitating the other members of the guild when they trained and that she was eager to be trained herself. Although the Guildsmaster had doubts about the wisdom of this, he gave in and allowed her to begin basic training at the age of eight. Siren excelled at the training and by the age of 11 was a match for any of her own age and some of the older members as well. A new member was introduced to the guild at this time, a fifteen year old boy who was given the code name 'Bane' as he was such a deadly opponent. When she was fourteen years old she was drawn against Bane in training, he teased her about being a weak little girl and the Guildsmaster's favourite and she then became the only person to beat him since he was sixteen. This feat astounded every single member of the guild and earned her the name of 'Siren', beautiful but deadly. It also earned her the respect and shortly thereafter the friendship of Bane. They were partnered in training constantly after this learning with each other, as they both knew the way the other fought they would constantly be improving or inventing maneuvers to out smart the other. As a result, each became the only one who could defeat the other.
They were training partners, friends, lovers and quite often worked together on more difficult cases, until she was 17 when a rift occurred between them when Bane was seduced by the power offered by Sade. They fought and Bane left to pursue Sade's cause. Later that year the guild quarters were burned to the ground with all but seven of the members trapped, living or dead, inside the main hall. When the remaining seven returned from their assignments they were confronted by the destruction of their homes and the deaths of their friends. The guild had been the only home that Siren could really remember and the members her only family. She was devastated. The surviving members, including the Guildsmaster decided to go their own way and do whatever they would, the Guildsmaster retired but the other six continued their work independently. The communication system that was used to keep all members informed whilst they were away from the Guildhouse was left intact and so they were notified when the other members were systematically hunted down and killed. The killings had stopped about 10 months after the massacre and it seemed that the three remaining members would be left alone.
Siren had been hired for a few jobs since the break up of the guild but many people doubted her abilities because she was a woman. She desperately accepted a well-paid but incredibly dull job guarding a paranoid baron's estates. About a month later she met Ageless, Tal and Androkills.
